Brewery Design
A number of topics have been discussed and considered when entering the brewery design phase. However, there are also a whole new set of things to consider when combining designs.
Are you brewing on site? Does the physical layout of the brewery need to allow for a lot of foot traffic? Where will you store manufacturing materials?
Efficient and safe design of brewery spaces is critical. As a cornerstone of the commercial space, the brewery’s setup needed to allow material to come in one way and beer to flow out another.
Other things to incorporate into the design are:
Equipment height and width.
Logistical necessities (the space should be designed so you can efficiently locate all pieces of equipment as well as accommodate the equipment needed to move materials, such as a forklift.)
Anchoring platform posts and tank legs
Brewing issues (a clean, reliable water source is a must.)
Uniform water pressure (so that necessary rinses and mashing can be achieved.)
A filtration treatment system
Temperature consistency
Contamination (one of the most prevalent problems! We generally specify high quality stainless steel, because it makes cleaning easier.)
Proper handling of the discharge from a brewing operation
Drains
Flooring
Insulation
Future expansion

Brewery Production
Time to craft your gear! This is a very exciting stage in the process. The first thing we did was grab a pencil - and start doodling.
Well, it's a little more complicated than that, but before we can do anything else, we need to put the device's physical dimensions on paper. We work with the factory and the client to create a set of exquisite sketches showing each piece of equipment down to all the smaller details.
We then use a program to insert each element into the agreed-upon site layout. Our goal is to set up the space for the most efficient process flow. The graphs are drawn to scale, and the end result is a very accurate representation of what the brewery would look like in real life.
We go back and forth with our customers, constantly checking to make sure they are happy and agree with the measurements. This may take some time, but it is the most important part of the production process. These drawings then become blueprints for the manufacturing team.
We manufacture in 304 stainless steel or 316 stainless steel or copper - depending on the client's brewing goals and preferences.
We manufacture our equipment to the absolute highest standards - because the quality of your equipment really makes a huge difference to your product - and the overall success of your brewery. We need to make sure there are no conditions where bacteria can grow. Cleaning is a top priority!
From the steel or copper sheets used, to the standard of welding and polishing - you can expect the best.
Brewery Installation
This stage is highly anticipated - but can be daunting for some clients. That's why if you need us, we're here to help every step of the way.
The most important stage of the brewery installation process is the preparation. We do as much work as possible before the equipment arrives, working with clients and contractors to get all the utilities in place. This includes electricity, water, plumbing, lights, etc. If these are up and running, it will make installation faster and easier for everyone.
We also make sure you have all the equipment you need for the day - such as forklifts, trucks and cranes.
A good pre-planning checklist means that when the equipment arrives on site (yay!) we can unload, put it in place and set it up! It becomes more of a "plug and play" process.
We want to help make the installation as easy as possible, so we usually have a team member on hand on the day to help with unloading and directing traffic. Sometimes it can be a game of Tetris, make sure to put in the right device first and then everything else fits into it.
Let's make beer!
At the end of the day, we know you're eager to get started! That's why we work hard to get you up and running as quickly as possible.
Once you've started making beer and everything is up and running, we can still advise you if you have any further questions.
We can even help you develop a recipe!
Because your victory is our victory. Every time our client is successful, we do a happy dance.
We love seeing breweries thrive, grow and learn more.
