How the Bright Beer Tank Works


The bright beer tank process consists of three key steps:

  • CO2 injection: CO2 is injected via a CO2 stone

  • Sedimentation: Remaining yeast and protein settle out

  • Temperature control: Low temperatures maintain beer clarity and CO2 concentration


For best results, brewers should aim for CO2 injection between 2.5-2.7 NTU and turbidity below 1 NTU. These values are not random - they represent the sweet spot for most beer styles.
