1.Mashing - By soaking the milled grains in heated water, sugar extraction (along with color and flavor extraction) as the main purpose of this activity is processed when enzymes (from the malt) break down the starch into maltose to produce wort.
2.Lautering - Malty liquid is separated from spent grains. Sparge ring (with hot water) will rinse off the remaining sugars in grains to increase the fermentability level of sugar in the wort.
3.Boiling - We will add hops in the processing of boiling.This is the process where the most of chemical and technical reactions (wort sterilization, bitterness/aroma flavor, enzymatic process suspension, proteins concentration)
4.Whirlpool -After the wort is heated, a part of the hot coagulum will be produced, and these solids will be removed by whirlpool to obtain a clear wort.

The four steps above are called beer mashing and happens in beer brewhouse. We can combined the four steps freely,such as mash/lauter tank+boiling/whirlpool tank, mash tank+lauter tank+boiling/whirlpool tank........For the 500L micro brewery equipment,2-vessels with "mash/lauter tank+boiling/whirlpool tank" is the common choice.
5.Wort cooling:After the beer mashing is completed. The hot wort needs to be quickly cooled to the temperature required for fermentation (different types of beer require different requirements) by a plate heat exchanger, and then the cooled wort is oxygenated (provide nutrients for the mass reproduction of yeast) and flows through the yeast addition tank and then enters the fermentation tank for fermentation.

6.Beer fermentation: In the beer fermentation tank, the yeast multiplies in large quantities first, and after the oxygen in the wort is consumed,the yeast performs anaerobic respiration to produce carbon dioxide and alcohol.

1.Cooling system:A large amount of heat is generated during beer fermentation. In order to keep beer fermentation at a low temperature, a cooling system is needed to cool the fermenter.
2.Control system:the whole brewing progress is controlled by a control panel，such as temperature control,heating and cooling,pumps opening and close........
3.CIP System:Beer brewing equipment needs to be cleaned before use to ensure the quality of beer; After use, it also needs to be cleaned in time to ensure the normal maintenance of equipment.So it will need a CIP system
