1/2" NPT Quick Disconnect

Quick disconnect connectors are connectors that can be quickly connected and disconnected. These seals are very good and support liquid flow in either direction. Mate with the male end to form a lock seal. The female end has a spring cover, a ball bearing locked in the male groove, and a food-grade O-ring for sealing.
This part is basically a compact version of our stainless steel female quick-disconnect 1/2" NPT male connector, which has been mated with our stainless steel 1/2" NPT female x 1/2" barb connector.
We chose to use two separate parts because it makes the solid end of the hose heavier (better when spraying into the boiling kettle and filling the fermenter) and longer (easier to grasp). Which option you choose is up to you.
The socket and plug ends are connected with NPT internal threads, and the sealing material is EPDM.
