Plastic Filter Housing

Used in conjunction with a filling machine to filter wine or cider or other low-temperature and low-alcohol beverages online when bottling wine or cider. Save time by eliminating separate steps by filtering and bottling at the same time. The filter unit is placed in series between the wine and the filler itself of the filling machine. The filling machine will draw wine from your tank or barrel and pull it through your filter housing. The housing can accommodate three filter elements.

Filters are available in 5, 1, 0.5 and 0.2 microns and 0.45 absolute sizes. Stainless steel filters that can also be used for oil are rated at 5, 10, and 50 microns. The filter element used with this housing can be cleaned and re-sterilized for future use.

• Can accommodate 3 filter elements (3 must be used at a time, and all filter elements use the same micron)

• Requires 3 filter elements to use

• Multiple filter housings can be connected in series for one-step filtration, for example 5 microns, then 1 micron

• Made of methacrylate (plastic)-not suitable for high temperatures or spirits

• Not used for alcohol content exceeding 20%

• For high temperature or high alcohol content, please refer to the heat-resistant glass version of this product
