Pyrex Filter Housing

The filter unit is placed in series between the wine and the filler itself. The wine will be drawn from your storage tank or barrel and pulled through your filter housing. The housing can accommodate three filter elements.

Filters are available in 5, 1, 0.5 and 0.2 microns and 0.45 absolute sizes. Stainless steel filters that can also be used for oil are rated at 5, 10, and 50 microns. The filter element used with this housing can be cleaned and re-sterilized for future use.

• Requires 3 filter elements to use

• Multiple filter housings can be connected in series for one-step filtration, for example 5 microns, then 1 micron

• Made of Pyrex, can be used for spirits, oils, wines or high temperature liquids

• More than 20% alcohol

• Suitable for temperatures up to 248F or 120C
