Mashing is the process of combining the milled grain and hot water, heating this mixture to different temperatures to achieve step mashing in a vessel called a "mash tun".
We get mash after step mashing. The mash will be pumped to lauter tank to process mash lautering until the wort is clear.
To save lautering time, there will have buffer tank between lauter tun and kettle tank.
The clear wort will be transferred from buffer tank to Kettle tun for wort boiling and hop adding.
After 1-1.5 hour wort boiling, the wort will be pumped to Whirlpool tank for whirlpooling, forcing the denser solids (coagulated proteins, vegetable matter from hops) into a cone
in the center of the Whirlpool tank. After Whirlpooling, wort will be cooled immediately by heat exchanger and go to fermenter for fermentation.

Brewhouse and fermneters in factory
1.How many kW are needed?
It varies, as everything depends on the individual projects and different production schedules. Here are some approximate examples:
60 kW for a brewery capable of 500 litres per brew
100 kW for a brewery capable of 1000 litres per brew
200 kW for a brewery capable of 2000 litres per brew
Data given assumes the maximum possible workload per day.
2.How to choose the right size of brewery?
The size of the brewery along with CCT volume must only be decided on after taking into account how many litres of product you can sell in a month. It will also be useful to calculate the minimum output along with any possible increases in output. With this in mind, you can choose the right equipment configuration, size, and quantity.
