During Karneval, the stanges in Cologne's legendary Kölsch halls never run dry. Masquerading revelers party the night away while teams of Köbes keep the beer flowing as they diligently refill cup after cup. On February 23rd, visit the DTR taproom for a glimpse into Kölsch Karnival. For $25, guests receive a souvenir stange (Kölsch glass originally $7) and five refills. Additional stanges can be purchased for $5, and Kölsch is only $4/pour for the whole night! Of course, no Karneval would be complete without traditional German music and food, and we have you covered with a killer Oompa band and a full smorgasbord of good eats.
Music will be provided by TUBAFRAU HOFBRÄU BAND

More about the Beers with the Brewers Series
We're on a mission to learn the stories behind each local brewery's top beers... and taste them, of course. So, we created Beers with the Brewers. We're going brewery to brewery for a unique tasting, guided by the brewers themselves, where they'll share the story behind the brews.
Each Beers with the Brewers series will be grouped by county so you can hit all of the local breweries in your backyard. Events will take place every three to four weeks and at each event, we'll announce which brewery we're heading to next. Purchase a Member Ticket and you'll receive a $5 discount on all future events in that county's series. Pay $30 now and pay $15 later for each series event you'd like to attend.
On Friday, January 19, from 7 to 10pm, step inside Fairmont Copley Plaza to warm up – and drink up – at the hotel’s Winter Warmer fest. We're talking assorted pretzels with beer cheese sauce, winter ale beef and vegetarian chili with jalapeno corn bread (and Fritos scoops!), and a grilled cheese station.
Tickets are $50 per person, including all food, alcohol, taxes and gratuity.
